Chapter Leadership Positions:
2025 Positions are available, please contact the Executive Board to get involved!
Webmaster
* Manage and update content for the chapter website
* Ensure the website is updated regularly in order to provide relevant information to the membership
* Assist the Executive Board with the producing the weekly chapter email blast
* Assist the Webmaster with updating content on the Chapter website
Certification Chairperson
* Promote ASIS Certifications to the chapter membership
* Assist the Executive Board with managing the chapter certification review programs
Program Chairperson
* Assist the Chair and Vice Chair with chapter meeting scheduling and planning.
* Assist with Chapter meeting logistics (Set-up, Sign-in, etc.)
* Survey chapter members to determine interests and identify relevant topics for chapter meetings/events
Women in Security Liaison
* Assist with promoting ASIS and recruiting other individuals in the WIS category to join
* Plan and coordinate a WIS related event for the year
* Assist with promoting ASIS and recruiting other individuals in the YP age group to join
* Work with the chapter Program Chair to develop a YP related event for the year (leadership development, career services, etc.)
Membership Chairperson
* Assist the Executive Board with membership recruitment and retention efforts
* Welcome new members to the Chapter
Law Enforcement Liaison
* Promote private and public partnerships, and information sharing with local law enforcement entities
* Assist the chapter program and events chair with the planning of any law enforcement appreciation/recognition programs and events
* Promote ASIS International to law enforcement professionals
* Stay informed of the latest policy issues affecting the security industry both locally and nationally
* Report to the chapter membership at meetings or through the chapter newsletter/website
Military Liaison Chair
* Identify and recruit military personnel for ASIS membership
* Apprise chapter leaders/members of resources regarding the military/public to private transition
* Assist with identifying mentors/protégés to participate in the chapter’s mentoring program
