Job Details:

Under the direction of the Director of Security, this position will supervise all Security Services personnel in the overall performance of their duties and assists in managing and monitoring the security management program for health system facilities. This position is responsible for supervising approximately 6 to 10 security officers.  The security supervisor may be responsible for supervising officers in different locations as requested by the director.

Qualifications:

Requires a High school diploma or GED certificate.  Prefer an Associates or Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or Communication. Must have a minimum of two (2) years in security or law enforcement supervision. Must successfully complete the Taser and AZ Post firearms training course annually with a passing score. Must have successfully completed the IAHSS Supervisory Certification within 90 days of hire.  Must have a valid Arizona Driver License. Requires working knowledge of Arizona State Laws, Public Relations, and Investigative techniques.  Must have the ability to write legible, concise, comprehensive security reports while using correct grammar and spelling.  Requires the skills to ensure officers are exercising tact, understanding, self-restraint, judgment, and confidentiality in dealing with the public.  Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Director, IT Security and Compliance

Overview:
Responsible for developing, directing and maintaining an enterprisewide information security program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected; directing the identification, evaluation and reporting on information security risks in a manner that meets industry compliance and regulatory requirements.

From an IT Compliance perspective, directly responsible for ensuring that each significant software deployment or release of our mission critical applications, including SAP, meets or exceeds the company*s compliance requirements. Proactively work with functional business areas to implement practices that meet defined policies and standards for information security and compliance arenas.

Serve as the process owner of all ongoing activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customers, business partners, employees and business information, in compliance with the organization's information security policies.

Responsibilities:
Design, deploy and direct the creation and ongoing management of Medicis* information security and risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by the organization
Ensure that security programs are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies to minimize or eliminate risk and audit findings. (Examples of applicable laws and regulations include the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.)
Design, deploy and direct the strategic and tactical security guidance for all IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
Direct the design and administration of computer account provisioning and management of Medicis systems Determining the appropriate design and maintenance of global directory services, identification, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
Direct the development and subsequent management of the enterprise's security organization, consisting of direct reports and indirect reports including hiring, training, staff development, performance management and annual compensation review
Oversee and approve the design and deployment of network and application security controls, including the approval of access controls, network and data architectures, and logging and monitoring tools

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master's Degree in CS, Information System Mgmt, Public Policy or Law preferred
10 yrs exp. in Risk Mgmt, QA and/or Info Security in high tech manufacturing and engineering environment
Preferred: 7+ years experience directly supervising staff; 7+ years system test, quality assurance and validation experience in a regulated environment, (preferably life sciences industry)
ISO 17799, CobiT, COSO, ITIL
SAP, Documentum, Salesforce.com a plus
One or more of the following:
CISSP, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)

Protective Services Manager

PURPOSE:

To manage all aspects of the Protective Services Department which includes development and implementation of security programs to enhance and assure employee safety, public safety, and protection of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) and its related facilities.

 

 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business or other related field.
  • Current Regular Peace Officer Certificate issued by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.
  • At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience within law enforcement, utility security or industrial security management, with at least five (5) of those years of service in a management level position.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and maintain a good driving record while employed by CAP.
  • Must be certified three (3) times a year with a 40- caliber handgun.

Certified Protection Professional Certification (CPP) is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to develop and implement performance plans and measures; a firm commitment to business goals and to developing and demonstrating respect for internal and external customers; good communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and team building skills; a strong background and understanding of business practices and customer service; a thorough understanding of the contract security industry and contract negotiations; a strong technical background to oversee design, installation, and supervision of card access, closed circuit TV, alarms and lock systems; and a strong background in investigative skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Manages the Protective Services Department.

Responsibilities:

The successful Security Director will be responsible for directing, coordinating and overseeing all activities of the onsite Security staff, including all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post in accordance with post orders and client instructions, and following all internal procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or business classes desirable.

Minimum 3 - 5 years of professional-level experience required.  Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement and/or military highly required.  Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus.

This is a working Director position that requires prior security Management experience in a hi-rise setting.  Must have Fire, Life Safety Knowledge and be versed in access controls.  

Must be able to clearly, and effectively, communicate both verbally and in writing with the tenants, vendors, visitors and the Management team.

Must be very detail oriented and be able to work in a face paced environment.

Candidate must have previous security supervisory/management experience - law enforcement and or military experience a huge plus.

The qualified candidate must be computer literate.

Must have, or be able to obtain a valid AZ guard card.

 You will be an important member of the team that maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees; manages staff; secures facilities, operations, and personnel; designs patrol routes; conducts inspections and investigations; maintains security fleet, rapport with local law enforcement, civil defense, and first-aid agencies, and supplies inventory; prepares reports.
