While performing his duties as Security Officer for Wackenhut Security client Progressive Insurance recognizes his efforts during an incident in the summer of 2007 assisting an employee in a health crisis. The 2007 ASIS Security Professional of the Year award has been presented to Don Kelly of Avnet. As Security Manager for Avnet, Don is recognized for his efforts to plan, organize, direct and implement corporate security policies.
