2018 Southwest Security Conference

Conference Theme -
Technology: A Newly Emerging Threat In Physical Security

Join us May 11, 2018 at the Heard Museum in Downtown Phoenix for a day immersed in exploring "Technology; a Newly Emerging Threat in Physical Security”.

There was a day when networks were computers connected to other computers and the problems they generated were problems owned by the CISO. Today’s network consists of computers connected to physical objects (Internet of Things) and power plants, transit systems and infrastructure (Industrial Control Systems).  Vulnerabilities in these Cyber-Physical Systems have a physical world impact as evidenced by recent targeted attacks on power plants, hospitals, transportation systems and most recently the City of Atlanta.

The Southwest Security Conference features a select group of experts who will help to bridge that divide between the traditional CISO and CSO domains to illuminate why cyber-kinetic and social engineering threats matter and what security professionals should know to address these looming risks and vulnerabilities.
