Eligibility Requirements

Nine years of security work experience, with at least three of those years in responsible charge of a security function - or - A bachelor degree or higher and seven years of security work experience, with at least 3 of those years in responsible charge of a security function.

About the CPP Exam

The CPP exam consists of 200 scored multiple-choice and may contain 25 "pre-test" (unscored) questions randomly distributed throughout the exam for a total of 225 questions.  The time allowed takes into consideration the review of the pre-test items.

The exam covers tasks, knowledge, and skills in eight broad domains that have been identified by CPPs as the major areas involved in security management.  All exam questions come from official reference books.  No question on the exam are taken from any other source.

PSP Classroom Review

     The PSP Review is primarily designed for PSP candidates. Others who may find the program useful include security practitioners who want to review fundamental concepts of security, managers who have recently assumed security responsibilities, and individuals seeking more information about the security industry.
